1. University of Chicago, United States
The University of Chicago or the University of Chicago (usually referred to as Chicago or UChicago) is a private university, which focus on research coeducational and is located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. University of Chicago was founded by oil businessman philanthropist named John D. Rockefeller in 1890; William Rainey Harper became the first president or rector in 1891 and the first classes were held in 1892.

2. University of Cambridge, United Kingdom
Cambridge University rated the second best in the World University Rankings 2009. The University of Cambridge is one of the oldest universities in the world and one of the largest in the UK. Its reputation for outstanding academic achievement is known worldwide and reflects the intellectual achievement of its students, as well as world-class original research carried out by staff of the University and Colleges. Its reputation is supported by the Quality Assurance Agency and by other external reviewers of learning and teaching, such as External Examiners. High standards are the result of both the learning opportunities offered at Cambridge and extensive resources, including libraries, museums and other collections. Teaching consists not only of lectures, seminars and practical classes led by people who are experts in their world, but also teach more personally arranged through Colleges. Yale University rated as the third best university in World University Rankings 2009. Yale University is one of the most famous school in the United States, with a long history of service and an alumni list that reads like a "Who's Who" of successful people. Yale University is the fulfillment of a European vision of intellectual freedom that aims to serve the community and the state. It has championed throughout history and survived the most destructive calamities such as the American Revolution. Since then, the university has continued to grow and develop into a high-quality education center recognized by the global community. The university is considered one of the oldest higher education institution in the United States. The company was founded in 1701 and is a proud member of the prestigious Ivy League.

8. California Institute of Technology (Caltech)
The University is one of the most prominent universities in research. Caltech maintains a strong emphasis in the natural sciences and engineering. Caltech own and operate complex space flight "autonomous" which leads the world as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. JPS observing the design and operation of many NASA space exploration; unlike "National Laboratories' (National Laboratory of the US) and other NASA Space Center, JPS facilities only in the contract to the government.
